Living Life
When you experience loss, especially a sudden death, it makes you asses what and who really matters in life.
Sometimes we just go through the motions because that’s just the way life rolls.
Sometimes we have our blinkers on and we are constantly chasing the dream… But we really do need to slow down, we need to stop to breathe and take stock of what is most important.
What are you currently chasing? Paper? Promotion? New love? Old love? Connection with family or friends? Reconnection? A fresh start? A clean slate? Forgiveness? Redemption? Acceptance?
Is this really what you want? If so, then kei te pai, but have you taken the time recently to really sit with what you want, and why you want it?
I am asking myself these questions, and I invite you to do the same. It is helping me to find much needed clarity.
✨ What is my purpose in life?
✨ What do I want to be remembered for?
✨ What is the legacy that I want to leave behind?
✨ What picture will my eulogy paint about me at my funeral?
✨ Who are the most important people in my life? And am I making enough time for those people?
✨ Are there things that need to be said to clear my conscience, or to mend a relationship?
✨ Is what I am making a priority for my best and highest good?
If you trust in the journey of life, you may just find peace and fall in love with something you didn’t know you even wanted!
